WHO CAN TAKE THIS TRAINING?
This training will give you tools and knowledge to safely instruct prenatal yoga classes once you are certified and have teaching experience. It can also be your starting point as you build on your teacher training education. You may use these hours as continuous education for Yoga Alliance or it can be the foundation for a full 85-Hour Certification with Yoga Alliance.
Yoga Alliance Prenatal Certification requires a specific amount of hours with lead instructors to complement learning along with observing, teaching and reading hours. You would sign up to a certification mentorship with Nanci and Lorena who will guide you through the process. "Nanci is a gifted teacher and healer Her work with prenatal yoga students is the best in the area! Moms return again and again as her class is the perfect complement to an expectant mother's journey." Michelle, yoga instructor
"Nanci is by far my favorite yoga instructor Gentle in both her approach and instruction, she was the first to light the path for me to experience yoga as the life "practice" that it has become for me." Ric, student
"Nanci is an excellent instructor who is willing to work with all levels of experience without making anyone feel incapable. Her classes combine stretching, a workout, relaxation, and a bit of the spiritual, all set to a musical background. Nanci makes yoga approachable for all." Scott, student
"I truly believe that my birthing experience would have been completely different had I not attended prenatal yoga with Nanci. I learned breathing and coping techniques that absolutely made my birthing experience the best and as calm as possible. I highly recommend her to every mom-to-be out there!" Kelly, student
"Nanci is inspirational as a yoga instructor! Her prenatal and mommy/baby yoga classes were fun and invigorating at a time when I really needed them. The topics of discussion in Whole Birth yoga taught me so much." Marjorie, pediatrician and student
"My first class with Nanci was a homecoming to my own long-neglected body. Her gentle way of leading us through poses with her encouraging tone of voice gave me confidence. At the end of that first class, I had feelings of both exhilaration and relaxation. All these years later, I still get to that place in her classes. Nanci has given me respect and love for yoga through her caring, her enthusiasm, her sense of humor, and above all, her commitment." Karen, student
"Nanci teaches all aspects of yoga: poses, breathing, and to listen to my body. She encourages each student to do what is best for their personal practice and to lead healthier lives off the mat as well...while making it fun and interesting!" Debbie, student
